At this time, OnBoard Tampa Bay only supports sign-in using a valid email address. 

You can create a webmail account using your mobile device or computer. Webmail is an email account you access from the internet rather than being installed on a computer. Examples of webmail providers include Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, and Hotmail. Each of these email service providers has unique features, select the one that best fits your needs.

To recover your password, click ‘Forgot password’ on the sign-in screen and enter your username (email address). if you have an existing account, a  temporary password will be sent by to the email address provided.

With an OnBoard Tampa Bay account, you can access your Job Seeker profile, search job listings, access contractor profiles, view application information, check your application status, view upcoming events, access supportive services, and much more.  As OnBoard Tampa Bay continues to improve and grow, we’ll inform you of any new features or changes.

Your dashboard is regularly updated to display the most up-to-date status information relating to job applications. When an application status changes, your dashboard is updated in almost real-time to reflect the new status. If you still need further assistance submit a Support Ticket located in the left navigation bar and a Workforce Coordination will contact you.

Once you have found a job post that you are interested in you can apply by using the “Apply Now” button. When applying for a job, a pop-up box will appear, follow these suggestions below.

  • Cover Letter Message (optional)
  • Refresh the page and try again
  • Review the Privacy Policy
  • “You accept our Privacy Policy” Check the Box
  • Select the “Apply Now” button
  • Now your profile information will be sent in the form of a resume to the employer/contractor.

Contractors/Employers

OnBoard Tampa Bay is a local workforce development and community-building initiative sponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7. The mission is to build a large, continuous pipeline of local labor to support upcoming roadway and bridge construction projects and promote economic opportunity throughout Tampa Bay.

OnBoard Tampa Bay integrates the support of workforce coordinators and community partners to create empowerment and deliver lasting workforce solutions. Employers can post jobs directly onto a project map which includes FDOT’s current projects, the platform also includes a dashboard to manage job posts, applications, analytics, and more.

OnBoard Tampa Bay provides each Contractor/Employer with a Company Profile page. The profile page includes the company logo, contact information, about statement, project/company photos, links to social media, embedded video, and Team members.

Yes, OnBoard Tampa Bay provides virtual interviews via a Zoom integration. There is no cost and the tools allow you to schedule meetings directly from your Dashboard.

Jobs are posted by completing an online form.

When a Job Seeker clicks on your job posting, they are taken to a page with the full job description and a button to apply. Candidates can then complete the 2-step application process.
