OnBoard Tampa Bay is a local workforce development and community building initiative sponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Tampa Bay (District 7). The mission is To build a large, continuous pipeline of local labor to support upcoming roadway and bridge construction projects and promote economic opportunity throughout Tampa Bay.

AVERAGE ANNUAL CONSTRUCTION IMPACTS
$2.65 Billion in Construction Projects Equals 4,100 jobs per year (includes over 2,600 in direct construction and 1,500 indirect support)
FDOT is projected
to create over 24,000 jobs per year statewide over the next 10 years, including 2,600 per year in construction (Economic & Fiscal Impact Study 2018)
