However, with the support of our community partners OnBoard Tampa Bay can facilitate the offering of Supportive Services to help you overcome these challenges and achieve your career goals.

Pre-Employment Services

We have identified community partners to provide pre-employment services and identify qualified candidates that align with the unique roles and hiring needs of contractors. Soft Skills, Language, Resume Writing, Drug Testing

Transportation Services

Many job seekers face challenges due to the lack of reliable transportation. Fortunately, there are several programs and services available to assist with transportation. Public transportation systems, such as buses and trains, can provide affordable transportation options. Some organizations offer ride-sharing programs, vanpools, and carpooling options. Additionally, some employers may offer transportation assistance to job sites as a benefit for their employees.

Training and Certification Programs

Many job seekers require additional training or certifications to qualify for specific job opportunities. OnBoard Tampa Bay with the support of our community partners are offering several programs and services available to assist with training and certification needs. These programs can include soft skills and vocational training, apprenticeships, and job-specific certification programs. Some employers may also offer on-the-job training or tuition reimbursement as part of their employee benefits package.

Childcare Services

If you are a parent or guardian, finding reliable and affordable childcare can be a challenge. Supportive services are available to assist with childcare, including subsidized childcare programs, before and after-school programs, and summer camps.

Housing Assistance

If you are struggling to find stable housing, supportive services can help you access housing resources. There are several programs available that can assist with rental assistance, affordable housing options, and emergency housing. Additionally, some employers may offer housing benefits or subsidies as part of their employee benefits package.

Food Assistance

Accessing healthy and affordable food can be a challenge. However, our Community Partners have many programs and services are available to assist with food needs. Some employers may also offer on-site cafeterias or provide meal subsidies as part of their employee benefits package.

Counseling Services

Mental, emotional, and some personal concerns can impact your ability to find and maintain employment. Counseling services can provide support and resources to help address these issues. Many of our Community Partners offer counseling services for individuals facing such issues, addiction, or other challenges.
